Particle のが
The のが combination consists of two distinct particles: の, which functions as a nominalizer to turn verbs or clauses into nouns, and が, which acts as the subject marker.
Examples
歩いて行くのが見えましたcould see them walking away
日本語を読むのが好きですI like reading Japanese
Compare
のが marks the noun-like idea as the subject. のを marks it as the object of an action.
